Make a Day of It: Franklin PumpkinFest 2026

Resource Tony Carletello October 21, 2026

Looking for a reason to get out and enjoy Middle Tennessee this weekend? Franklin’s PumpkinFest returns to downtown Main Street on Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25. This year, the festival is expanding to two days.

My suggestion: make a day of it, but don’t try to do everything. Give yourself time to browse the makers’ booths, listen to some music, and enjoy the costumes and fall atmosphere. Then step away from the busiest stretch for a meal or a look inside a downtown shop you’ve never visited.

If you’re bringing children, pick one or two activities you know they’ll enjoy and leave room for a break. If you’re going with friends, make a meeting plan before you split up to explore. And because this is a downtown event, check parking and street closure information before you leave home.

One of my favorite things about days like this is seeing people enjoy the communities that make Middle Tennessee special. Whether you stay for an hour or the afternoon, PumpkinFest is a good excuse to slow down and spend time together.

Check the official PumpkinFest page for the latest schedule and visitor details before you go.
